Route Update: Guyana Diamond Jubilee Independence Parade
Slight adjustment to the parade route in Brooklyn on Sunday, June 7, 2026
The NYPD has made a slight adjustment to the route for the grand Guyana Diamond Jubilee Independence Parade on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
This adjustment will avoid congestion in the vicinity of the 69th NYPD Precinct, located at Rockaway and Foster Avenue.
Updated Parade Route
- Start at Church & Utica Avenue, Brooklyn — 12:00 p.m.
- Proceed right onto Linden Blvd
- Proceed right into Rockaway Avenue
- Proceed left onto Avenue D
- Proceed right into East 101st Street to Foster Avenue
- Unity Concert at 3:00 p.m. — 10101 Foster Avenue, corner of East 101st Street, Canarsie, Brooklyn
