About the Event
The annual Guyanese unity concert is on the first Sunday of June each year. This event is designed to bring international and/or recording artists of Guyanese and/or Caribbean lineage together with local Guyanese artists to produce an evening of unforgettable entertainment for our young people, and to promote unity and healing in the global Guyanese community and nation.
The committee reaches out to all current Guyanese artists and will seek to pull off another massive concert as we did last year. The event will take the form of a mega show. Part of the proceeds of this event will be donated to a fund dedicated to the elimination of domestic violence, suicide and child homelessness among Guyanese.
Important Notice
Participants and patrons must maintain orderliness as well as the event’s incident-free record. No weapons, illegal drinks, illicit drugs or other unlawful items will be allowed. All contraband will be confiscated by security and police. Public safety laws will be strictly enforced.
