The Guyana Independence Celebration Committee (New York) invites you to the New York City celebration of Guyana’s 51st Anniversary of Independence from May 26 – June 11, 2017.
Independence Day, May 26 will be the annual Flag Raising Service in the Courtyard of the Alexander Hamilton US Customs House, 1 Bowling Green, Manhattan NY 10004 (at the Broadway/Wall St Bull). The Cocktail Reception & Awards Ceremony will immediately follow on May 26, in the Rotunda of the Alexander Hamilton US Customs House. The Independence Service is on Sunday, May 28, at God’s Battalion of Prayer Church, 661 Linden Blvd, Brooklyn, NY 11203 (at Linden Blvd & Schenectady Ave).
